Would anyone know where I could get plans to build a model of this boat?
There is a web site with an article about the boat, and a model that
someone has built.
Thanks, Ted in Mich.

It's likely pretty small. Have you been to the Sea of Galilee? It's a lake!

There is apparently a natural funnel effect for onshore winds from the
Med through the gap between hills either side, which can blow up a
steep sea.

I would start looking on some of the website on biblical archeology,
such as:

http://www.bibleplaces.com/seagalilee.htm

http://www.israel-mfa.gov.il/MFA/History/Early%20History%20-%20Archaeology/Archa
eological%20Sites%20in%20Israel%20-%20The%20Roman%20Boat%20fr

There is a lot of work being done in Archeology.  There have been many
boats found from that period.  I found the above with a few minutes of
googling.  There should be more information if you dig deeper.
