I am thinking of replacing my  aft cabin salon carpet floor with wood.  I
will have to deal with 8 hatches.  Any ideas?  I was thinking of a
prefinished floor with  solid wood strips.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Brian

You can lay your own deck using pre cut teak strips  (1/4" x 1-5/8" ) and
glue them into place.
Teak decking is quite affordable  (approx $9.00 sq ft.) if you do the work
yourself.
You'll need a handsaw, a belt sander and a screwdriver.

If you have the deck installed 'professionally' the cost is approx. $110 per
sq. ft..

So the pro job takes, just guessing, two to three hours per square
foot? How long to do it yourself.

You always do things the hard way?
