How high off the ground did you want them? How long is your mast? How much
does it weigh?

The distance from the ground should be min of 36 inches to clear the radar
radome antenna. The clearance from the water line 50 feet. The exact
lenght of the mast will have to be checked. The mast is deck mounted so I
estimate 50 feet less 5 feet = 45 feet long. As for the weight I have to
find out. I estimate the weight to be less than 1000 pounds. I will check
with the manufacturer.

1000 lb? Way less than that, I hope for your sake.

I have two saw horses that consist of two metal pieces (for each saw
horse..total of 4 for two horses) into which 2 x 4 "legs" and a 2-4
cross member, all cut to length to achieve the desired height and width
of the saw horse, are inserted and clamped. To store or transport, take
'em apart...remove the legs and cross member and stack 'em. In fact,
mine are stored on the top shelf in my garage store room now, so they'll
fit in the trunk of any car. ssembled, they're definitely strong enough
to support a mast. I got it all at Home Depot.

I can just see horses with just barely enough crossmember to hang the
mast in rope slings. An inch, maybe. Few would want to borrow them.

I know what you're talking about and those are pretty handy and quite
strong.
These would probably work well for the mast.

On second thought, nevermind. They are not well-designed.
========
I have four sets of these and they are very strong and easy
to set up and take down. You just put them together upside
down and push the locking mechanism with your foot.
You have to supply the 2x4 or 2x6

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I appreciate the information. I
have a fair amount of 4/4 and 8/4 eastern white pine in my garage. At this
time, it is not too comfortable to work in my garage workshop because of the
cold Canadian winter. This will give me time to look around for the plastic
folding sawhorses.
