I have a Hunter 26 waterballasted swing keel that I took out of the
water during a storm so it wouldn't get damaged.....so a tree fell on
it. I need a replacement mast, stern rails, and rudder handware. Any
ideas other than going straight to Hunter?

You can try Hunter owners web site, which is part of Sailboat Owners
web site. Look in the classifieds and also post your request there.
http://www.hunterowners.com/ www.catalinaowners.com/
http://www.sailboatowners.com/
It's all one big site and not associated with Hunter, Catalina or any
other manufacturer.

See if you can find out where salvage boats go when Insurance
companies settle claims and take possession. You may be able to get
exactly what you need off of a boat that was destroyeed in a way that
didn't damage the parts you need. In the auto salvage world, they
often take a car with front end damage and one with rear end damage
and splice the good ends together into a working automobile.
In places like Florida, there may even be boat salvage junkyards with
a website. Try a few Google searches.
