ROFLMAO.......  Jax, you idiot...... this is old hat, to me.  I have
ECI cylinders on one of the aircraft that I own... I've seen all of
this before.  I often install the cylinders on the aircraft that I
maintain and inspect.... I have an excellent working relationship with
the company... They are also the manufacturer of Lycoming "factory"
cylinders.

Your own quote proves you wrong in everything you have stated....
Here is your quote from Engine Components Inc......

1. Pressure oil the engine before the first start-up after the engine
has been installed in the airplane. There are numerous systems that
will accomplish this task, which range from homemade to sophisticated
production equipment.

Unfortunately, pressure oiling does not lubricate cylinders, pistons
and rings. Therefore, ECi recommends that spark plugs be removed and
the cylinders themselves should be oiled before start-up. If the
engine is equipped with a spin on type oil filter, it is beneficial to
fill the oil filter with engine oil before start-up. The filter must
be properly installed, torqued and safety-wired. All pre-oiling
equipment and activities must be maintained and performed in a manner
that does not introduce contaminants into the engine.

Obviously, what you have quoted, "There are numerous systems that will
accomplish this task, which range from homemade to sophisticated
production equipment."  proves that equipment in addition to the
propeller is necessary to preoil the engine....

Obviously, what you have quoted, "Unfortunately, pressure oiling does
not lubricate cylinders, pistons and rings,"  therefore *prelubing,*
as I have stated and for the reasons I have stated, is a poor way to
prepare an engine for running.....

Why the hell do you post stuff that so obviously proves you wrong,
mistaken, and incompetent????  Can you not read?  Or do you chose not
to????  It is one thing to be such a loser.... quite another to hoist
one's own petard with such defiance and glee.......  Geesh...
