Anyone have one of these and care to comment on the effectiveness?  I
am considering a purchase.

They do work when installed, operated and maintained according to mfr's
instructions.   However, depending on tank location, aerating a tank
that's smaller than 30-35 gallons may not be necessary to keep it odor-free.
