Tortugas to reopen Wednesday, heres what todays Citizen says:
"LOWER KEYS
Fort to reopen Wednesday
The cleanup of safety hazards from destruction caused by Hurricane
Charley Aug. 13 at Dry Tortugas National Park and Fort Jefferson has
been completed.
The park service has scheduled reopening to visitors of the park and
the fort for Wednesday.
Charley downed 100-year-old trees, damaged a moat wall and docks, and
filled waters with debris, forcing the park service to order immediate
closing while crews repaired the damage and cleared debris.
Tours to the Dry Tortugas also will resume Wednesday."
