Does anyone know if an Icom 802 SSB can be used with a SGC SG-30
smarttuner?

I am sure it will work, but the autotune switch on the radio may not
cause the tuner to retune.

It will work but you must have the SGC tuner control box by the radio and
because the radio will not go into tune unless you have an Icom tuner
plugged into it, you'll have to whistle in the mic to feed RF to the tuner.

Mixing these sucks.....get the AT-130..
