I wonder why there are not VHF handheld radios combined with GPS units, at least Garmin makes both the former and the latter but as separate gizmos, and also is marketing GPS+Family radio in_one on the big brother market.

Went to the lake this past Friday to check on my boat. Was a pretty nice day
for December. Thought I would sail a litter, but the engine would not start.

I am in the market for new winches and I have  been told to look at Andersen.
I have used Lewmar in the past and have been very satisfied but the MO on
Lewmar is that they aren't what they used to be especially on the service/parts
end.
