I am currently purchasing an old Ballerina in need of tlc but generally in reasonable condition. One immediate problem though is that the rudder is well and truly Kaput big time.

I hope someone can help - I read somewhere recently that in Holland some marinas operate on channels that are blocked on UK sets - was it CH31a which is used by the UK search & rescue services? If I remember correctly, it was mentioned in one of the UK sailing magazines

By the end of August I will be ready to buy my dream liveaboard yacht and have narrowed it down to a Moody 44. If anyone knows of one for sale, I would be interested, and could save a brokers fees for the seller, (probably the best part of £10,000).
