Shrink wrap vs no shrink wrap31 Oct 2005 22:34 GMT4
Hi all.  I have a brand new Catalina 350 that I spent this Summer
sailing.  I'm up in the Boston MA area.  Well I"m about to have it
pulled and of course my boat yard wants to know if I want it shrink
wrapped or not, and to be honest I'm not sure, so I thought I"d see if I

It would appear than the area around City Island is just one big raw sewage
outlet:

Central England sailing club to recommend?31 Oct 2005 18:16 GMT2
Living as we do at the claimed new centre of England (Fenny Drayton) can
anyone recommend a good family-oriented sailing club in these landlocked
parts?

Loco's Fear a Reality31 Oct 2005 17:13 GMT2
Yes....it's true. We have a faster, bigger, nicer boat than Loco.
Remember Loco loser chanting on and on and on about his boat being
faster? Faster boats aren't better and My C&C was still nicer. But Loco
held on with desperation this his Depress 30 was newer and faster.
A reminder....31 Oct 2005 12:05 GMT3
To anyone going out tomorrow - the clocks go back tonight but the tides
don't.

Looks intriguing, though you would have to race it, then get involved in the
rigamarole of finding crew, and everything else. Course you could always
limit your racing to singlehanded distance races.

Variable Pitch Prop31 Oct 2005 00:28 GMT15
I'm in the process of building an e-boat and am looking for a ~19 inch
variable pitch prop along with probably the shaft and any controls that may
be associated with it.
A friend of mine told me that Volvo makes one, but none of their dealers

I Challenge!!!!!!30 Oct 2005 13:02 GMT10
Next summer I will take on ANYONE boat for boat with my 35s5. It will
be a busy summer for me, so you have to sail my LIS waters, but I will
take on and BEAT ANYONE in a race who dares to take my challenge. The
race can be a day long trip if you like, or around the cans. Doesn't
Boat Search-Ready at Last30 Oct 2005 00:35 GMT77
Yesterday I flew out to St. Petersburg in pretty bad weather. Got to
the 35s5 by noon. The full survey was wrapping up, but there was still
the rig inspection, haul out and final sea trial.
All went perfectly, but winds were building to 20 knots and gusting
