My wife was dying to tell you a dozen good places, but I
said, 'They may be from up north but they're not dumb. They
can figure it out and it will be fun exploring.'

Take advantage of a great deal

Hi everyone.  I am looking for some advise about sailing/yacht clubs in
the Solent.  My sailing experience has mostly been in Australia, and
now that I live in London, I want to start yacht racing and sailing in
the UK.

I recently visited a boat that looks quite neat.
A heavy displacement hull, neat rigging. And a
great shape overall.
Only one critical issue to raise, the engine.

Has anyone heard of a "Sportboat 29".
Deep fin with bulb, spade rudder, carbon bowsprit.
It looks like a Cheetah 30, but the rudder is not
transom hung, and the fin is broader then tapered

Anybody been there?

Any knowledge/experienced based suggestions whether there are
comparatively affordable places to stay for Miami Boat Show attendees
and, if so, suggestions for such?

Well I was at the yard most of the day. Scotty was doing nothing after
10 am. I was working but certainly could spare enough time for lunch
and a look around the yard. He never showed up...again.
