Ever notice that people on boats always wave, and expect you to wave back? I've had people get angry because I did not wave back. I think I figured out why, but would like to know your opinion first.

Nasa target wind - speed display showing low - despite the masthead rotor aparently spinning suitably quickly. Was ok 2 weeks back - showing realistic rates between 12 - 25 kts. Had a severe storm on the mooring last night - 8' inflatable + 2hp

I recently purchased a Tanzer 22 sailboat which came equipped with a circa-1980 Honda 7.5hp 4-stroke outboard. Although the mount, which is one of those spring-loaded deals that can lift the motor up and down, looks pretty strong, this motor is a beast... I think it weighs about 80 ...

How do I go about the above procedure?when the mast pin is in the transom the mast is too heavy to lift?Sure with three of us it can be lifted,then the fore say attached. However on your own ,how does one go about the lifting?
