Spring Commissioning28 Mar 2008 22:55 GMT35
Like most in the parts of the world that have more than one season,
I've been picking away at a list of boat projects and improvements
over the winter. Nothing exactly major this year. I built a pretty
slick setup so that one VHF radio can be used either below, or up on
medical facilities in the Sporades28 Mar 2008 16:03 GMT16
Does anyone know what the medical facilities are like in the Sporades? I
need to know if there is any provision in case of a diabetic attack in June.

Toyota Minivan Fails again28 Mar 2008 14:52 GMT4
2008 Sienna from Toyota failed to join the Kia Sedona and Honda
Odyssey as a top safety pick for 2008. It would be 2008 Top Safety
Pick winner if it's seat/head restraints also earned good ratings. The
Sienna also failed to earn a 5 start crash rating for the driver
Self-etching primer28 Mar 2008 02:08 GMT7
Can anyone point me in the direction of a UK supplier of self-etching
primer. I need it for an aluminium alloy catamaran drive leg. I have
googled, but not found anything appropriate.
Dehler28 Mar 2008 01:25 GMT8
Vaguely thinking of changing boats and looking for 9-10m. Secondhand
Dehlers seem to be good value. I always though of Dehlers as being
good quality boats, but dont really knew about them.
Any opinions/

Single or double?27 Mar 2008 21:44 GMT14
I have always used a "regular" 2 meter tether to clip on to the
jacklines. I just bought a new one recently. I am interested in anyone
with experience using one of the double tethers with a second 1 meter
lead that enables you to switch to the other side of the boat without
'Secret Anchorages of Brittany'27 Mar 2008 09:44 GMT6
I consider buying couple of books to prepare for a passage from area of Rouen (Channel) to La Rochelle - we are
interested in small tiny & charming harbours and anchorages, including some scuba-diving, while the yacht is 47 ft steel
ketch with up to 8 ft draft.
