Binoculars30 Aug 2008 13:55 GMT33

are particularly special but these are nitrogen-filled, waterproof,
compass, range-finder, BAK 4, floating, central focusing, all for 50
quid in P&P.

1.25-1.5cm high riveted to the hull) got crushed against the pontoon. I've

Bye bye Barak21 Aug 2008 17:07 GMT2
It's over. People are catching on. Nobody wants such an unqualified person
as President in these hazardous times. The fact that Obama a lying,
ultra-leftist (read communist) Democrat makes matters worse. It ill be

Cowes Week21 Aug 2008 03:49 GMT5
In common with a lot of sporting events, I get the impression that Cowes
Week is rapidly becoming little more than a venue for corporate entertaining
and vendors of all sorts of unrelated crap.
I am not opposed to the regatta, and even a bit of socializing after, but it

Let's talk!15 Aug 2008 18:54 GMT13
I've been lurking in these two groups for several months but have kept mum.
I figure it's better to read and learn than to just constantly run one's

Dyeing rope.15 Aug 2008 09:10 GMT32
I have bought 220 metres of rope for my halyards and sheets, at a good
price. I would like to colour code the halyards. Can anyone give me advice
on whether it is possible to dye rope safely, and how to do it?
