Simple quetion :  how much do sails cost ?
I'm vaguely thinking (well, dreaming more exactly) of buying a yacht in the 24
to 28 foot class for coastal cruising in the UK and I notice that after the
standing rigging most of the adverts mention the sails as being candidates for

For various reasons (notably my aversion to the winter in general and

presently 8mm  The question is: a 60m length of 8mm or a shorter (45-50m)
of 10mm.  60m of 10mm chain will not fit into the chain locker.
