I have traded in the old '87 sea ray and got a new '04 VIP Viva.  Everything
about it is great so far.  When I demoed the boat the speedometer wasnt
going.  The dealer said its because it was just not ever hooked up when they

Fiberglass keel repair & damage prtection30 Jul 2004 09:43 GMT5
I'm wet sanding the scratches on the hull of my 19' fiberglass hull (mostly
on the underside along the keel) and I've noticed that a few of the deeper
gouges have gone all the way through the gel coat, showing the charcoal gray
of the fiberglass underneath.
Outboard Motor30 Jul 2004 09:31 GMT14
What does the "group" think about a 5 hp 2-stroke outboard on a 12 ft. Jon
boat for small river fishing.  Assuming a payload of less than 350 pounds,
would a new motor perform respectably?
