Replacement microwave01 May 2005 00:11 GMT7
I need to replace the microwave on my Maxum 2400SCR.  The dealer wants
over $500 for an exact replacement of what was a very basic microwave.
I have searched high and low at retailers and online but haven't found
any small enough.  The problem is the depth is only 11".  I find ...

I have a new Yamaha 200 (ox66) outboard with just 22 hours on it.  The other
day I took it out and noticed a slight metallic rattling noise while it was
idling, seemed to go away after a few minutes, then while running about
3600rpm's I heard a loud thud coming from the engine, no ...
Is Lund WC-16 to fragile?30 Apr 2005 17:58 GMT9
I am considering a new Lund WC-16 (their low end boat), using a 15hp Yamaha.
I will be using it on a small bay for crabbing, and general use. I would
like to have this boat around for a few years and am concerned about it
durability. The boat is rated for a max of 25hp and weighs ...
Another mooring question30 Apr 2005 16:01 GMT5
I am a new owner of some rental cabins in Michigan.  We'd like to offer
our renters the opportunity to moor a small boat or jet ski while they
are staying with us.  The lake itself is very shallow for quite a ways
from shore.  Our neighbor has moorings in the ground that have chain

No Shifton a Mastercraft...30 Apr 2005 04:35 GMT8
My buddy has a Mastercraft X-30, and floated her for the first time last
week. The engine started perfectly, but he couldn't get it to shift into
forward or reverse. The throttle lever worked as advertised, but no action
at the prop.
Emptying the Trash30 Apr 2005 02:06 GMT3
I cleared out my "Bozo File", dumping all of Harry Krause's posts in the
trash where they and he belongs.  It sure is nice to have him filtered so I
don't have to worry about his ilk.

Three Stupid Pirates (didn't dig up) buried trouble......29 Apr 2005 22:30 GMT2
Anybody who ever played "pirate" as a kid had to feel a twinge of envy
as the TV networks replayed the story of three men who claimed to have
found a box filled with old gold and silver certificates, bonds, etc
buried under an apple tree. A coin dealer had valued their haul at

According to the Local section of this morning's Seattle Times,

The largest expense at the Chittenden Locks is payroll, and total
President Bush raised eyebrows on Tuesday29 Apr 2005 03:59 GMT13
This is a classic...really. If there was a US President dumber than
Dubya, I'd like to know who it was.
