My repair shop has had my boat ALL summer. I'm told it needs a new shift cable and outdrive mounting kit, which they claim is no longer available for my 95 Yamaha outdrive. Is this true or does someone out there know where I might find parts ?

I am in Chicago and always have my boat hauled out and winterized. I found a slip with water/electric for the same $$ as winter storage. If I take that and drain the water lines and a/c line, will the engine be okay? Can I put a light bulb or something in the engine compartment

i have seen quite a few good things about the Dorsett. I have also seen guesses at weights on these things as well. I have very limited towing but one of these boats has made itself available to me. nada doesn't even have a listing for Dorsett.
