If you've not read any of his historical naval fiction, give yourself a
treat and do so. He also wrote the "Richard Bolitho" series under the name
Alexander Kent. That was a super series. I'm currently reading his 'Royal
Marines Saga', a series of five. Good books.

Have 1992 50 hp, fitted new water pump and it wont select reverse.
Tried adjusting cable and finger thing that selects gear range but to
no avail.
Can get reverse with leg off by moving selector shaft with a long screw

hi, i have bought a old red band 70's model merc 9.8 and want to cange
the gear oil. i find and remove the drain plug but can't find the
vent/fill plug. can anyone help as i am new to this?  thanks

My GPS was stolen off the boat; so I need to replace it.  
What's an inexpsnive unit that includes depth  (fishfinder type mode ok) and
speed-over-water?  Wouldn't mind water temp too; but that's only for curiosity
sake.   Alarms: near arrival point; anchor drag, depth

My wife gave me a Minn Kota Bow Mount trolling motor for Christmas.  It
came with machine bolts and nuts and I'm trying to figure out how to
install this thing.  I have a 17' Key West.  I cannot access under the
deck to use the machine bolts.  Do they have wood supports molded under
