I'd use 2 coats of Rust-o-lum brush on type, not the spray variety.  You
probably won't get a heavy enough coat with the spay can.
No reason it won't work on the Gen. also, obviously not on areas that get
hot.

Finally got the Classic Mako in the water29 Jan 2007 15:26 GMT3
After about a year of work, finding the period correct, like new,
engine, repowering, flushing fuel tanks, polishing gelcoat... It
finally went into the water. It was a beautiful day in Daytona Beach
on Saturday, in the 70's.
