*Everyone wants to better themselves, whether its improving their
health or elevating their attractiveness to others. Most will
never make any real attempt at changing themselves for the
better.. and thats a very unfortunate fact!
oil to gas ratio31 Mar 2007 20:48 GMT2
Hi, I just bought a used boat w/ an 1989 80 hp mercury ob. I am told
that the motor did have a oil resivior but was disabled to allow a
premix. Can anyone tell me the proper ratio to mix. I think it should
be 50:1 but am unsure thanks.
A boating question31 Mar 2007 02:50 GMT7
A boat washed up on the beach containing a two foot Leprechaun wearing
only one shoe, a Speedo and a red beret.
What is the Legrechaun's name?

Scout sale - final version30 Mar 2007 21:13 GMT4
Just talked to the buyer of the boat.  He's not a dealer.
Turns out his girlfriend is having a kid next month and she freaked out when
he spent money on a boat.  Actually, *she's* the one that listed it on the
RI Craigslist.

One of my good friends just retired from the Merchant Marine after
twenty years as Captain of various tanker and super tanker vessels.
Since he retired, he purchased a boat (50 foot Hatteras convertible)
and went to see the DEP about getting the required Boating Operation

great B'day present.30 Mar 2007 04:07 GMT7
Not a new boat, but a flight in an AT6 / Texan.  Wife and kids surprised me
with this one.  Not a clue.  After 39+ years of marriage, is still fun.  I
get to pilot it also.

Boating in Ohio?30 Mar 2007 03:05 GMT4
I heard a rumor that these video clips were shot on Lake Erie, about
15-20 miles west of Cleveland. :-)
I'm not convinced that's the case. If it's true, I'll bet boat
insurance is really expensive in Ohio.
Sold the Scout30 Mar 2007 02:48 GMT36
This morning, just for giggles, I listed the Scout on Craigslist with a link
to my website with current pictures.  I carefully and fully explained that I
was selling it "as is" and that it had not been run for over two years.
(gave a short history of the boat).  I priced it ...

I think I'll stick to 45 degrees and drizzling. :-)
(Talk about boats that would be affected by climate change!)
