Trolling motor28 Feb 2010 18:48 GMT14
I have a Minn Kota 55 hand operated troll motor.  The DPDT rocker switch
that does the forward/reverse broke into pieces.  It is rectangular.  Has
anyone changed one of these, and do you think I can find one at NAPA, or do

The dinghy problem28 Feb 2010 16:20 GMT16
Smaller sailboats like my 28' one still need a dinghy for the
occupants to get to shore when anchored.  I have tried inflatables and
rigid ones and neither worked well.  Inflatables require a motor
because they row so poorly and the rigid ones take up too much room on

Just look at the outside evaluations of the stimulus. Perhaps the

Macroeconomic Advisers and Moody’s Economy.com. They all estimate that

PlanetSolar Boat: First Around-the-World Solar Sail?27 Feb 2010 23:26 GMT5

Looks interesting. I still think it's way to impractical to use
commercially, but it seems they're trying to do something with solar
power.

Looks like there's a tsunami headed their direction.
I wonder if this had anythig to do with the quake in Chile?  I
wouldn't think so, but I'm no expert.

Light atop the mast27 Feb 2010 18:31 GMT-
My anchor light atop my mast has always given me problems with the
bulb burning out requiring somebody go all the way up there to replace
it.  Then, you get up there and replace it only to find that it is
actually the wiring that has gone bad.  As I have gotten older, going

rather a pocket-liner. And like his colleague Murtha, those pockets

Auto-pilot parts from g1027 Feb 2010 18:17 GMT3
I brought my old Autohelm 800 home because the nylon part that threads
into the push rod and then fits onto the tiller had broken off.  I
discussed making a new part from g10 with my machinist and he said it
