I've recently bought a steel hulled houseboat in an area I want to move to, with the hopes of later selling it and getting one with an aluminum hull. I got a great deal on it, but feel sure that the bottom is in bad shape. The previous owner said it was pulled and inspected

| Coating steel hulled houseboat (more)??? | 05 Nov 2003 16:42 GMT | 1 |
Forgot to ask about the rusting from the inside out issue. It's a 1973 boat, and almost surely a 1973 hull. It is very rusty inside, but no sign of leaking. Is the inside rust a real big problem? I've only known people to refer to it a couple of times--not all the time like rust ...
