I am going to buy a pressure feed hvlp gun to spray System Three LPU.
Any help that you could give me regarding your experience with
different gun models, fluid tip sizes and LPU thinning would be
helpful.  I am looking at new, used and import guns.

Is it possible to use 'exterior'  grade plywoods which are much cheaper than
marine plywoods? You could use a glass resin or just a strong yacht varnish
to weather it.
I'm building a 12 ft sailing boat. I used white deal to build the frames and

Speedometer on Larson 186 SEi with OB Johnson 15001 Dec 2003 23:36 GMT1
My speedometer stopped working yesterday and I am not sure where the

clogged but not knowing much about it I would be open to any advice.

time between 3 layers of glass/epoxy??01 Dec 2003 21:51 GMT3
I may have to lay up three layers of epoxy/glass. I think I remember that
one should not let 24 hours go between layers. If 24 hours goes by ( or
maybe some other relatively short time frame) then 'each layer must be
sanded, due to "waxing"...????
Spinaker tack loads?01 Dec 2003 01:05 GMT5
I need to fabricate a tack fitting for an asymetrical spinnaker out on
the bow sprit forward of the stemhead.  What I need is a design load so
I can choose a pin size and then work the other dimensions back from
that.  Does anyone know how to predict the tack load for a cruising
