HOWTO build an adjustable steel transporting cradle ? 01 Feb 2004 17:41 GMT2
I'd like to build a steel cradle that could be adjusted for different
sizes [up to 50' and say, 30,000#] to transport boats on a flat bed
truck, obviously in the least expensive, safe manner.

I'm currently working on a Phil Bolger designed plywood sailing pirogue (the
CSD one).  Even though the original design calls for a lee-board, I can't
leave well enough alone and am planning on an off-centre centre-board.
My question is about protecting the hull bottom at the centre ...
