| Sealing a Thru-Hull Hole | 29 Apr 2004 16:23 GMT | 3 |
In the process of restoring an old 33' Silverton I have come across an extra thru-hull hole that does not need to be there. Is there a thru-hull fitting out there that is just a seal? or what options do I have? BTW - the current hardware is all but disintegrated...

| Getting hosed | 27 Apr 2004 18:14 GMT | 28 |
I'm sure there's a good reason - but my initial looking discloses two basic types of sanitation hose. Both claim the same purpose (keep the stuff and the odor inside while on the way outside), but there's one which is 3x the price of the other.

I'm trying out a new rudder design for my kayak, and (aside from a good NACA profile) I need to know what the maximum rudder angle would be. I assume the maximum angle would be at minimum steerage for a kayak (around 1.5 knots).
