| Gluing a mast | 30 Jul 2004 18:46 GMT | 4 |
I am slowly rebuilding a wooden Snipe class sail boat. The boat sat in an old garage/barn for many years. One of the results of age is that the mast has come apart near the top where it had been finger jointed(?) together. First of all, is it possible to re-glue this joint?

| Searunner trimaran | 28 Jul 2004 13:56 GMT | 4 |
Well I launched her today, Searunner 25 trimaran. Damn, it even floats and very shallow (best I could measure 10inches). Forgot to cap the centerboard pin holes. Kind of funny to hear water running into your boat while launching.

| New instrument panel material | 25 Jul 2004 05:28 GMT | 19 |
I'm replacing the cockpit instruments (wind dir, speed, knot etc) in my sailboat and of course the holes are different. The original ones were cut right thru the cockpit combing gelcoat/glass - so have some big holes I can't use.
