In regard to plywood/composite construction, have any large boats ever been built using this method? I'm thinking about "large" to mean any large pleasure or commercial boats As an example, does the Navy have any composite boats in its fleet?

I've laid out the various parts on sheets of okoume (the designer supplied very tight layout schematic, with sometimes barely two saw blade widths between parts) and will begin cutting the pieces free later today.

A neighbour discarded a couple of cast iron bathoom sinks in great condition. Wondering if enamel paint on interoir makes the sinks useless for metling and casting lead. If they are okay I want to offer them free on the Ottawa boating newsgroup. Thanks.
