A few weeks ago I posted about fixing a seat on my sailboat that was loose.
Today I removed all the screws and pulled the seat out.
The screws are held only by the fiberglass; I thought there would be some
wood, but there isn't.

Question about prop and shaft rotations...   we have twin engines with
counter rotational engines, 1 clockwise, 1 counter clockwise....  we also
have a LH prop and a RH prop currently not on the shafts...  thus the
question...

I have several places in the coachroof of my cat that are delaminated.
Two are soft (i.e., wet), one is crunchy (i.e. dry). It's composed of
balsa between layers of fiberglass. I have very little fiberglass
experience, but would still like to repair these myself and was

symptoms: when starting out from idle upon opening throttle, boat
vibrates and rattles but fails to produce adequate thrust.  Prop turns
but only generates minimal movement through the water.  Engine revs at
high rpms but fails to accelerate through the water.

Took my two minicups to Shell Pt, FL today to sail.  Light wind, maybe
6 kts.  Was a good sail anyway.  Wife and daughter got some
confidence.  Sail on #1 began to fail where the carpet tape I used ont

Ahoy, I'm using the last of our decent days to do the bottom of a
fiberglass keel boat. The bottom of the keel section is wood which is
bolted to a partial keel of fiberglass. (some kind of add-on from a
previous owner, I think). The bottom of the keel has empty plug holes

i'm at wits end. when i got the boat it had plexiglass ports/windows
fastened with ss screws every 4 inches and bedded with what was
probably walmart grade silicone caulk.  they leaked like a sieve.  i

After inspecting my visqueen sails on my minicups, I find they are
coming apart because the double stick fiberglas reinforced carpet tape
I used to hold them together is failing.  I am fairly sure this is due
to prolonged exposure to water int he rain here as I simply do not

We are looking to sell off excess King Starboard drops from our
manufacturing operations.  We are currently generating drops that are
11.5" x 15", 18.5" x 96", 16"x36".  All material is dolphin gray and 1/4
thick.  These are unused and have the protective sheet on the beauty side ...
