Help me please guys,
I'm just about to lay up a hull with two layers of uni-directional
cloth and epoxy and I want to lay peel ply over it.
My problem is that I have very little experience with laminating,

Is there any way short of destructive testing to tell the difference
between 3/8 G4/HT chain and standard chain?

I'm looking to replace some rotten plywood on the cabin top.  60's motor
launch.
Original construction looks like 15 mm ply ( probably marine back then - it
wasn't gold plated .. ) with fibreglass on top, and many many layers of

Can I use SS full port ball valve with Teflon seats in diesel fuel line?
Or I need a special one.

I am trying to find out how the length of a boat is determined for
registering. Is it from the bow to the stern including the pulpit and
the swim platform? What if the swim platform is not "fixed" (moves up
and down) to the hull. This is for Canadian Waters

I'm building a small tunnel hull and am at the point where I need to fill
the screw and nail holes. Does anyone have a favorite putty they would
recommend ? I will be fiberglassing the outside of the hull and then
painting.

I'm having trouble setting up my canoe to sail into the wind using a lee
board.  Can a canoe do this with any efficiency?

Does anyone have a good source for window channel replacements?

I feel like I'm just barging in here as I'm not a regular poster to this
group, but I'm hoping for some advice. I've already gotten a lot of good
information from Google and doing a Dejanews search of past posts to this
group, but nothing specifically addressing my situation.

I've always heard that there is a second (semi secret) manufactures Hull
ID on all US boats.
I'm trying to track down the "responsible owner" of a boat that was
abandon at a public launch ramp that I've been keeping and eye on this
