I've begun stacking rectangular lead 'pigs' into my internally ballasted keel cavity. Becuase the pigs ARE retangular, and the keel is not, there are some 'voids' or 'vacancies' into which I hope to pour lead shot so as to fill these voids. I figure I'll need a couple

I need to modify the height and width of a bimini frame to fit it to my boat. What is recommended to joining the cut 1" frame tubing for sturdiness and so that it will be smoothe for fitting the top afterwards ?

I am trying to build the "tiny bear" boat (see plan here http://members.aol.com/polytarp/tbear.htm) but there is a step that I can not figure out. I am suposed to put together the bow plate, the transom and a mould frame.

I am looking for a source for ROUND gaskets for my bronze ports. I have found the square ones at Defender but the grooves in the ports are round and the square ones don't seat well no matter what I do. Any sources will be appreciated. Chuck
