I have two fiberglass shaft paddles I need to refinish, because the glass is starting to show. The outer layer looks like a very thin fiberglass and black resin tape - very similar to catamaran tillers.

| tidal wave damage | 02 Jan 2005 15:50 GMT | 6 |
Seems to me the best thing they can do is get all those fishing boats back in the water so the people can start fishing again ASAP instead of spending all their time building refugee camps. The people can live on the boats while the houses are being rebuilt. From the newsreel clips ...

| Secondary bond? | 02 Jan 2005 00:29 GMT | 2 |

| "Striped" Decking | 01 Jan 2005 05:10 GMT | 6 |
I'm sure there's a proper name for it, but I'll be damned if I know it. I'm referring to the striped-decking you see on classic wooden boats. I know some people simply stripe a plywood decking to make it appear like individual boards, but I'm interested in the real deal.
