New to group, Hi
I have heard that the diesel engines from the refrig units on tractor
trailers can be economically converted to inboard motor use. Anyone
know if this is valid?

Does anyone have experience with Kop Coat brand (or similar) two part
epoxies? It's a solvent based epoxy, one part is the pigmented resin and the
other is toulol and other solvents.
I have a high gloss 1:1 epoxy kit with minimal instructions.

I am trying to install a garelick outboard bracket model 71090 on the back
of my 21' Fiberform. The brackets adjustment handle wants to hit the transom

Hey all, I came accross an epoxy resin for "fiberglass repair" made by
bondo that is sold in stores around me, including walmart.  It uses I
believe 7 drops of hardner (included) for one oz of resin.  
Has anyone here tried useing such a product to make a stitch and glue

I bought this old 14 foot Sunray that still has the original paint on but I
would like to change its color (it's sort of a mustard yellow...ugly).  Some
folks told me not to change it because -they say-  the manufacturer's paint
will be more efficient at protecting it than a brand ...

I have a yanmar 1gm10.  Due to various leaks and such there are a few areas
of the engine block that have rusted and need repainting. What do I use and
how do I go about it?
