Thanks to the people who tried to help me by answering my question. My steel tank is custom made to fit in a 'lost' corner and is practically not interchangeable by a plastic one. Pure technically yess, especially here in Belgium where I live, but I am not Bill Gates. That is why I ...

| recommended boat for a 90hp outboard | 18 Nov 2005 13:15 GMT | 2 |
I have a 90hp outboard that needs a boat for it. Can anyone recommend an older (probably 70s or 80s vintage) aluminum boat that is good for pretty choppy water (big lake) and still able to pull skiers well. Where are good places to look for boats like this online or other?

| deck hatches | 18 Nov 2005 02:43 GMT | 16 |
I need to buy a new deck hatch. The choice seems to be either a Lewmar 60 or a Houdini super 50 foredeck hatch. They are both the same size (they're both the same size) The Lewmar has Perspex (12mm I think) and the Houdini 6mm toughen glass. Houdini are a lot cheaper and I ...

| Wood strip building question | 17 Nov 2005 18:33 GMT | 5 |
I understand the need to plane and sand the outer side of the hull of wood strip built boats so that it is fair and smooth. You'd definately want it as smooth as possible to facilitate passage through the water.

| How to reduce rocking? | 15 Nov 2005 00:45 GMT | 10 |
I moved to a different dock to get a better view of the lake. Now I get a better feel for it too. The waves come right down between the docks and catch us in the side, creating a lot of rocking from side to side. Are there any good ways of

| Cosine Wherry Dolly | 14 Nov 2005 19:42 GMT | 2 |
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good boat dolly that fits the Cosine Wherry? Most dollies I've looked at are for Canoes and Kayaks. The wheel widths are usually too narrow, and really aren't deep enough to accept the keel.
