I have the mast and boom from a wooden sunfish that is about fifty years old. They have always been kept out of the weather and are in excellent condition. I no longer have the boat. Do these parts have any value in today's boating community? I would like some imput from

I'm currently investigating the idea of building a carvel hull completely out of plywood. Ribs, strakes etc all from plywood. The interesting thing to me is can I do all the work up front and have the plywood milled on a CNC machine. The hull should then be easy to

I've got small hair cracks at fillet between the deck surface and cabin side. It happened because there is a lot of putty with no fiberglass layer on the top on it. It is painted with epoxy primer (heavy coat) only. I like to add one or two layers of fiberglass using

I have inspection hatches on the sides of my diesel tanks. Currently they have a rubber (might not actually be rubber) gasket sealing them, but one is seeping slightly. I'm pretty sure if I tighten the bolts any more they will shear. I think I need a stikaflex type sealant, but I ...
