| Putty: Crawford's or Dolphinite? | 25 Mar 2006 21:41 GMT | 4 |
For on-deck hardware and port light bedding. Any preference among those who have tried either? Crawford's all-natural painter's putty, the old water packed for freshness brand- VS the brash contender, Dolphinite. Thanks, ray (crawling towards the finish line) lunder.

My boat has a 3'x3' patch of heavy non woven matt fiberglass on the hull from the gunnell to the waterline. It was used to protect the hull as lobster traps were hauled into the boat. Its ugly.

Ahoy, the mighty Yanmar YSB12 sputtered into life this evening for the first time in many, many years. This is my first diesel and I have a few questions. Quite a few, actually. It's kind of a long read now that I look at it, I hope you're not too busy.

| Why flush a marine engine with fresh water after each use? | 20 Mar 2006 15:38 GMT | 5 |
I am purchasing a boat with an OMC V8 engine. And as I kinda research on the Internet on how to best keep the engine in good shape a lot of you recommend to flush with fresh water after each use to get raw water out when the boat is not used. I am wondering that should help when the
