I am interested in a Porter-Cable random orbital 6" polisher 7424 (6
speeds).  By switching the 6" backing pad with a 13700 5" sanding pad,
I can convert it into a 5" random orbital sander.  By the look of its
picture with the sanding pad, it surely looks just like any other angle

What's the catch?  There's one, really, and then just info which you
may
feel to be a catch, depending on how you view free stuff.

I have a kayak with a coaming which was too close to the deck in one spot.
I would like to bend it up slightly.
I know you can heat form epoxy easily, but can you use a heat gun to bend
polyester/fiberglass?
