I need to fit a new rubber strip around the gun-whale of a fibreglass boat that I have been restoring for some time. I removed the old strip, removed all the old resin holding in place, and cleaned up the joint where the hull and deck join. I don't how many types of these strips ...

I am a newbie to boat building. I have started my first project, a small D5 Dingy, a couple of months ago. Now I am ready to order the ply but I'm unsure as to which wood I should choose. There are lots of differnt opinions out there.

I own a 32' fiberglass lobsterboat with a full keel. Two of the bolts that hold the rudder plate to the skeg are loose as they spin on themselves. They do not have nuts on them. They just screw into the skeg. What is the keel made of? It is about 4"x4". Its white and when scratched

We bought our first small boat for lake fishing a week ago. It is a used 14' jon boat circa 1981 (according to the license). It had on it a 40 HP MERCURY engine with serial number 5991890. (With electric start).
