I have a question, I own a 1985 120 V4Evinrude outboard and need a new
gearbox/leg and have the opportunity to buy a 1977 140 V4 Evinrude gearbox.
My question is does the 77 models fit the 85 models or could someone direct

Hello all.  First post here.
What does a plain standard and normal registered boat, if modified to
very unusual characteristics has to comply with in order to legally run
?

    --I'm looking for an old outboard; preferably a 3-cylinder engine
*without* an overhead camshaft. I don't suppose anyone knows where I could
find such do they? And yes, I plan to convert it to steam, hehe.
