| Electrical/LED question | 29 Mar 2007 07:44 GMT | 9 |
I have some LEDs that I would like to use on my boat. They currently operate on 3 AAA batteries or 4 1/2 volts. Question: What would happen if I wire them in direct to 12 v? My understanding is that LEDs have a fairly wide operating voltage range.

I had a lot of marine life on my prop this past season in Long Island Sound, and think I might have found a special purpose anti-foul solution, but cannot find a distributor. I have read about this product twice, cannot find someplace to purchase. The website lists a

| 1978 85hp Evinrude Tilt stopped working, replace or fix? | 22 Mar 2007 03:11 GMT | 1 |
I finally ran my 1968 55hp to death! I picked up a 1978 85hp from a family member. The tilt motor is a 3 wire. It ran and tilted just fine while on the boat that I removed it from. I removed it with an engine hoist, used the tilt once while on the hoist to position it better,
