I have got a circa 1967 year 24ft lifeboat with SABB 12hp with

interested in teh possibilities of 2 part.  It is aparantly harder,

Hi, Charley,
Glues, etc.12 Mar 2007 17:54 GMT10
I have found some pirogue plans that look like something to tackle for
a first project.  Simple cuts and nice lines on the finished boat.
Now some questions re:  glues, etc.

I have a beautiful new 38' sailboat that has only one problem, it is

Has anyone in the group used moisture cured urethane to repaint spars?
Please tell us about it.  Were you pleased?  How much prep is
required?  Is it a final coat or a primer?  Sprayed or brushed?
Thanks.
Opninion on Bottom Painting Prop and Shaft08 Mar 2007 09:48 GMT4
Hi, I run into this question every year before spring launch: Should I

what other peoples opinions where or what they've done.
I have a standard bronze 2 blade prop with a bronze shaft. Most years
Awlgrip-Painting textured surface??08 Mar 2007 07:46 GMT6
The ceiling of my boat is textured gelcoat.  As I read the Awlgrip
instructions they seem to insist on preparation which would destroy
the texture.  Can I not simply wash and deway according to their
instructions, followed by a sound scuffing with an abrasive pad,
not exactly a boat, but a big water tank - how to seal seams07 Mar 2007 16:52 GMT8
