teak deck repairs17 Mar 2008 10:20 GMT17
I would like to make some repairs to the teak deck of my boat. Where can
I find some literature on the subject? I mean reliable web pages or
books regarding types and aging of teak wood, cutting, splines,
caulking, glueing and other technicalities alike.
Hunter Sailboat Parts15 Mar 2008 16:02 GMT3
I have a Hunter 26 waterballasted swing keel that I took out of the
water during a storm so it wouldn't get damaged.....so a tree fell on
it.  I need a replacement mast, stern rails, and rudder handware.  Any
ideas other than going straight to Hunter?
VW Diesel conversion on Mercruiser I/O13 Mar 2008 01:58 GMT7
I have just purchased an older Starcraft 18' runabout that
currently has a 120hp 4cyl Merc gas engine coupled to a series 120
Merc I/O drive.  I intend to convert this package, using the I/O, to
diesel using a 52hp 1.6L VW diesel engine in place of the merc 4 cyl.
Eyebrow making question12 Mar 2008 15:21 GMT1

cabin trunk.

to assemble says to put foam under the plywood before tabbing them to
hull.  Question is:  What sort of foam?  Thickness of foam?  Seems to
Tinting Gelcoat07 Mar 2008 11:42 GMT2
I need to make some burgundy gelcoat.
I can start with neutral gelcoat at $48.00 / gallon and add pigments
to get exactly the color I want.
I can buy it already colored to a match, but it's $200.00 / gallon.
Submerged Motor07 Mar 2008 00:33 GMT5
My 16 foot skiff capsized sometime during the night while tied to the dock.
I suspect it got hung up on the dock during the tide swing and the fuel
tank, anchor, and battery shifted to the side pulling it over and under.
The 4 inches of rain may have contributed even with the ...
Wanted:Chris Craft 12 ft Kit Boat06 Mar 2008 16:30 GMT3
I'm searching for someone with this boat that can either sell it to me or
take some measurements from it so I can complete the plans and get started
building the boat.
Any condition is OK, I can use it for a pattern boat or restore it.
