I'm just curious, can phenolic resin be used to wet glass fibers

PVA22 May 2008 01:37 GMT11
I would like to find some PVA, quick.
I need to make some gelcoat repairs today, and I understand that spraying
PVA on top keeps the gelcoat  (white) from discoloring. I'm not sure where
you find PVA, but I think I've heard that hairspray works.

preparing a 41' wooden sloop for sale one of these days, and I have some
questions about certain upgrades that I'm thinking about doing. I'm

all the way through the laminate.

Dinghy01 May 2008 01:12 GMT1
We have an eight foot polyethylene dinghy that was hit by a forklift
during the launching season. The foam inside is exposed.  Is there a
way to fix this without having to weld the polyethylene together?
Thanks,
