I would like to know weather I should upgrade my bowsprit with a

(code 0, g0, gennaker) and will be under significant compression.

made by west marine.
Anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram, I've googled and

Removing Foam Backing21 Mar 2009 03:11 GMT5
I'm in the process of removing the carpeting inside the cabin of my
sailboat. The manufacturer used carpeting with a foam backing to line
the inside hull as sound and thermal insulation. The problem I found
was that the carpeting pulled out easily but left the foam attached to
Oar length18 Mar 2009 16:31 GMT1
We bought a 14' x 5' johnboat.  It did not come with oars and I want to buy
some.  How long should they be?  I am about 5' 6" tall if that is important.
Bondo faring18 Mar 2009 00:02 GMT7

I am building a truck slide-in camper (Glen-L "Importer" design) and
am using epoxy for most things thickened with fibers and balloons.
However, in places where I think there will be less stress on the
camper inside, I am using the cheaper and easier to use "Tightbond"
putting screws into new fiberglass repair15 Mar 2009 17:09 GMT4
I am about to finish up a moderate fiberglass deck repair and am
curious about fastening the mounts for the post seats.  After I put
the carpeting back down, how do I put in the screws without breaking
the waterproof seal in the new fiberglass?  Thanks for the help.
old epoxy09 Mar 2009 19:07 GMT9
I had some epoxy left over from a project two years ago and I tried to
use it.  It seemed to have separated into a watery top part and a
thicker milky bottom part.  The whole mess smelled like ammonia.
Nevertheless, I did use some of it by mixing it very well.  It took a

Dock building02 Mar 2009 17:23 GMT24
I want to build two docks, one permanent and a floating one.  The floating
one will be supported by 15 gallon plastic drums.  I can get 55 gallon, but
for a 4 x 8 dock, I worry about center of gravity issues.
The permanent one will be built of 55 gallon drums filled with dirt.  ...

Hi group,
I'm wondering what wood to use for an unstayed mast (junk rig). I have
the book Practical Junk Rig here. The authors (British) recommend
