I am going to test some anchors on our August trip to the BVI. This is the second test and I learned a lot on the first one about what to do to make it more accurate. To measure the set distance I need some means of marking exactly the location that the anchor was dropped. I ...

| Looking for a funny mercury ad picture | 30 Apr 2004 15:27 GMT | 1 |
There was a picture used in the 60's in a Mercury ad. It featured a guy on an upside down dining room table planing along powered, of course, by a Mercury outboard. I have seen copies of this picture on the web, but cannot find it anymore.

I've decided to use cetol on my teak. I've prepped and cleaned and sanded and applied the first coat. Why does Cetol recommend NOT sanding between coats? Seems to me that the only way to get a smooth buildup is to sand off the high spots between coats. Then again I'm an

I wondering if any of you have ever had to remove teak oil from interior veneers. I recently bought a Sceptre 41 with an oiled interior. Much of it is in good shape and I will be able to varnish right over the oil. However, some parts have experienced local

I'm in the middle of changing the antifreeze in my Yanmar 2GM20FC engines and am curious if I should change type. I've been using Ethylene Glycol, following the advice of a Yanmar mechanic who said using Propylene Glycol would void my warranty. I've never been able to
