Anybody know anything about the Spirit 28 by North American / Glastron?29 Apr 2005 19:50 GMT2
This sailboat was made in the 1970's and early 1980's, with the last

Austin TX for a while.
I'm having a hard time finding much of anything about them on Google,

up water.  How far down can you ...

I do with Tamaya, Cassens & Plath, Astra, Freiberger, etc.
Any info appreciated.
Boat grills - Are their any good ones?27 Apr 2005 05:40 GMT6
I'm looking for a grill for my boat, and have been actively asking
around for months.  Everyone seems to dislike at least a couple of
things about their grills -
1.  They are hard to keep lit in the wind

watch for.

I would like opinions from you boat wizards familiar with Zen and outboards.
My Nissan 3.5 drives my small Portaboat around nicely but its user
manual and the label on the fuel tank disagree. The manual tells me to
use 25:1 fuel:oil ratio and the label says 50:1.  I've been ...
Trailer cruising25 Apr 2005 18:47 GMT7
What is the maximum length of boat that can be trailered without
running into constant parking and turning hassles at ramps?  Forget
weight and assume it is a fairly light boat.
A question from a landlubber from Nebraska25 Apr 2005 16:52 GMT4
It might be a stupid question to some of you old salts but hey I have
lived in Nebraska and Colorado all my life. The biggest body of water
close to my house is the stock tank by the windmill.
I have read about quite a few Ocean crossings in sailboats but I have
