| yacht clubs for cruisers? | 01 Oct 2005 00:16 GMT | 3 |
Some cruising guides to fairly remote places close a chapter by saying things like, "limited facilities may be found at the Sterling Gnurl Yacht Club" and such. How does this work? Can any yabo tie their sh.t-stained craft to the pier having survived a crossing? Do you need

| how many guns and what size | 30 Sep 2005 00:48 GMT | 10 |
I am ever increasingly annoyed by the attitude and shear number of baby boomer cruisers I have to encounter in my cruising travels. They are like cockroadhes everywhere, spreading their vile attitudes and generally bringing down the quality of life of all world cruisers

| cruising permits? fees, bilking charges | 29 Sep 2005 16:32 GMT | 1 |
I looked around but I could't find any one site that listed the hidden costs of cruising, region by region. It seems after the boat and equipment the largest expense is permits, check in/out fees, anchoring fees, visa charges, custom's clearance etc. Is there a comparative

I would be extremely interested in a comparison of the Fleming 55 and the Marlow 53 or 55. I am repositioning from a life of sailing to cruising and I want to make sure that I "get it right" the first time. I think I am leaning toward the Fleming, but I could really use some
