I have a pinhole in the piece of black iron pipe where the water in
injected in my boats exhaust system.
I am trying to find a source for a similar piece of pipe.  It is about

Musto jacket question/s30 Jul 2007 01:40 GMT8
Has anyone here got one of those Musto Windstopper jackets?  They're fairly
pricey but they seem to be a quality item.  Any feedback?
Also, has anyone had any dealings with Pineapple Sails in SF?
Good/bad/indifferent?

I have a 17 foot Doral with an older 4 cylinder Merc I/O. (Old
fashioned carburettor and distributor.)
It's been idling a little rough and stalling at slow speed. Today I hit
a wake fairly hard and the engine stalled.
Perforated Stainless Steel Strap28 Jul 2007 11:43 GMT16
I have some exhaust hose/components on my boat which were secured using
soft steel strapping.  Obviously that hasn't held up too well. I'm looking
for 1/2" or 3/4" perforated stainless steel strapping.  My on-line searches
haven't found anything.  Does anyone know of a source?

My wife and I will be traveling to various harbors in Maine by car
this weekend with our inflatable dingy (deflated) and an old 2-horse

Dear BoatUS Member,
For 34 years the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has exempted discharges from recreational boats from the Clean Water
Act permit system. Regretfully, a recent court ruling cancelled this permit exemption. EPA is required by the court ...

"Sporting goods business's are reporting a big fall off .. "

Alge treatment26 Jul 2007 01:19 GMT18
I'm just starting to see some signs of something that looks like alge on the
walls of my Racor sediment bowl so I decided it was time to put something in
the tank to get ahead of the problem before there is so much that killing it
produces a mass of sludge to clog the filters.

with nautical chart information.  They provide a free chart database with
limited information and for $50 you can get a CD or ...
