BlueJacket Text/Photo/Video logs for Down East Circle Route10 Jul 2008 12:50 GMT10
I've just finished moving BlueJacket from the Chesapeake to Ossining, NY,
which is just N of the Tappan Zee bridge.  I had a great trip and returned
home to pick up Sue, who is recovering from major abdominal surgery.  As of
next week she'll be cleared to be on the boat.

Never throw anything out08 Jul 2008 05:51 GMT31
Our boat has become a one-hoss-shay wannabee this season. Everything is
breaking -- stempiece, windlass, refrigerator, alternator, regulator
and, not least, water heater. But we can live without hot water. So
when the heater blew through its tank and dumped 150 gallons of fresh
Avoiding Hazards At Sea08 Jul 2008 05:26 GMT12
Sad and pathetic that a 16 YO boy can intimidate the hell out of Neal
Warren (AKA Wilbur, Greg Hall, ect) the pretend sailor.
I haven't seen Neal so upset since Ellen was in the news.
Can you imagine having the need to dis a 16 year old young man?
Thise Week07 Jul 2008 19:50 GMT1
Zac will make Hawaii and Wilbur will still be the same place he's been
the last 2 decades.
Nothing new for Wilbur.
Nealbur is thinking of security instead of opportunity. Wilbur seems
Good to see you chastise Skip07 Jul 2008 19:10 GMT10
Thanks, folks!  It's good to see not a few of you beginning to come around
and see the folly that is Skip Gundlach.
When I was among the first, if not the first, to point out here in this

What is a good stripper to remove Cetol. I will use sandpaper after I

LARRY!06 Jul 2008 19:01 GMT3
I've a 4cyl Yanmar 2004, 51HP.
I read a few months back about the 35 and 36i Delco-Remy Alternators.
Are these single wire types? Is it easy to rewire them if my existing
alternator has three wires? If so - how do I do it?
Motor Cruising - Buying My First Boat05 Jul 2008 19:20 GMT1
What do you recommnend as a good buy? Length 21 - 25 feet, 4 berth, <
£20000. I would prefer the cockpit covered permanently, something like
a Princess 25.
Free sailing lessons offer.05 Jul 2008 17:56 GMT6
I can't help but notice that Capt. Joe sometimes is posting from Miami.
Being just a hop, skip and jump from Miami in Paradise in the Florida Keys
and possessed of a stout, capable, been there-done that, little blue water
voyager, I am offering, gratis, sailing lessons for the ...
